AEDI-V Connector

MCP connector for the AEDI-V service

AEDI-V analyzes a video and recommends products that match each moment of the video.

Works in claude.ai (web) Works in Claude Desktop No sign-in required

Overview

The AEDI-V connector analyzes a video and recommends products that match each scene in the video. Matching considers both on-screen objects and scene context, so recommendations can include products that do not appear on screen.

  1. Enter a public video URL.
  2. Choose a region in the card the connector shows.
  3. Select a moment on the timeline to see the products matched at that point.

It is built for discovery, not buying. The connector does not complete orders or take payment. The card is displayed in Korean or English automatically, following your browser and host language settings.

Capabilities and limitations

Capabilities

  • Analyze a public video URL.
  • Recommend products for the region you select. Currently supports Korea and the United States.
  • Show a timeline of the moments where products were matched, with product cards for the moment you select.

Limitations

  • No checkout or payment in the connector. It is for product discovery only.
  • It works with public videos only, not private or login-required ones.
  • Recommendations are limited to the region you select.

Setup

This is a hosted connector, so there is nothing to install on your computer. Claude connects to it over the internet, and no sign-in is required.

  1. Open Connectors in Claude

In Claude, open Settings and go to Connectors. On Team and Enterprise plans, an organization owner adds connectors from Organization settings.

  2. Connect AEDI-V

Find AEDI-V in the connector list and select Connect. No authentication is needed, so you can start right away.

Tip: choose a capable model. Use a Claude model that supports tool search, such as Sonnet or Opus. On models that don't support tool search, the connector's tools may not appear or be called.

Example prompts

Once the connector is added, ask Claude to find products in a video and include the video URL. A region-change request should be a follow-up in the same chat where the video was analyzed.

Get product recommendations from a video
“Find the products in this video [public video URL]
Change the product region (follow-up in the same chat)
“Change the product region to the US”
Get recommendations for a specific region
“Show the products for the US in this video [public video URL]

Troubleshooting

Claude doesn't use the connector, or its tools don't appear.
Switch to a Sonnet or Opus model. On models that don't support tool search, the connector's tools may not be invoked.
Claude keeps asking for approval, or the card stops updating.
Claude may ask before the connector uses a tool, depending on your host settings. Open the connector under Settings and Connectors, then set its tool permissions to Always allow, or approve when prompted, so the in-app card can keep running.
I asked to change the region, but no card appears.
Ask for the region change in the same chat where the video was analyzed. A new region card opens, and analysis runs for the region you pick on it.
I get an “invalid video URL” message.
Paste a complete video URL that starts with http:// or https://.
Analysis seems stuck.
The card updates automatically every 4 seconds while the analysis runs, and longer videos take more time. Wait a moment, or run the prompt again.
I see a temporary or “Too many requests right now” error.
The analysis service may be busy. Wait a few seconds and try again.
